Mission:

The City Clerk’s Office strives to present a courteous, service-oriented team of professionals who provide quality administrative support to the City’s elected officials; accurately record, maintain, and preserve City records; ensure the City’s legislative processes are open and public in accordance with Alaska’s Open Meetings Act; provide a link between constituents and government through the dissemination of information; conduct municipal elections with the highest integrity; direct an efficient and comprehensive City-wide Records Management program; perform all mandated functions under the Kodiak City Charter and Code; and conduct ourselves in an ethical, impartial, and professional manner.
