Story time

For Children Age 3 Years Old: Toddler Story Time for Three Year Olds Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

Toddler Story Time focuses on stories using concrete vocabulary to describe everyday activities, places, people and things that all toddlers love. Ms. Ellie and Ms. Molly run a session that is designed to be short and sweet and packed with fun especially for three year olds. Plan on browsing the children's collection after story time and borrowing armloads of great books for at-home reading.

For Children 4 to 5 Years Old:  Discover Stories Spring Session Thursdays,  11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Discover Stories is a drop-in, half hour program introducing 4 and 5 year olds to books and reading fun. The program is limited to 20 children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Childcare, daycare and community groups with 10 or more children must make arrangements ahead of time with the Children’s Assistant.

For Infants Up to 36 Months Old: Wednesdays, Lapsit Story Time, 10:30 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.

Infants  enjoy simple, age-appropriate stories, songs, movement, finger plays and giggling to stimulate thought and creativity in preparation of reading readiness.
