Be Aware of Your Personal Computer Internet Security
The City of Kodiak urges its online utility bill pay customers to be aware of their personal computer's internet security. The City has become aware that one of its online utility bill pay customer's personal computer was compromised when paying their bill online.
The City of Kodiak takes internet security very seriously and maintains payment card industry compliance. The City's internet site is checked and scanned regularly for attacks and vulnerabilities.
Unfortunately, the City cannot secure personal computers that are vulnerable to hacking by other sites. The City recommends that you follow safe web browsing habits. The link below offers recommendations to keep your personal computer safe from outside hackers.
