Department & Apparatus
The Kodiak Fire Department was established by ordinance #13 November 18,1940.
Medic-1 is a 2016 Ford F350 XLT Braun NW Ambulance.
Medic-2 is a 2019 Ford F350 XLT Braun NW Ambulance. M-2 was purchased with assistance from Alaska Code Blue Grant.
Medic-3 is a 2013 Ford F350 XLT Braun NW Ambulance. M-3 was purchased with assistance from a Alaska Code Blue Grant.
Engine-1 is 2002 Pierce Quantum Pumper. E-1 is capable of pumping 2000 gallons a minute.
Engine-2 is a 2014 Pierce Saber. E-2 is capable of pumping 1500 gallons a minute.
Rescue-1 is a 2020 Braun NW Light Rescue. R-1 holds equipment for rescue activities.
Truck-1 is a 2000 Pierce Dash. It has a 105 foot aerial ladder and is capable of pumping 1500 gallons a minute.
