The City of Kodiak is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of City of Kodiak Surplus Vehicles and Heavy Equipment. Bids are to be hand-delivered to the City Drop Box located on the Egan Way side of the City/Borough Building at 710 Mill Bay Road by 3:00 pm November 13, 2025. Bid opening is at 10:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2025.

The City of Kodiak warrants that the City is the true and lawful owner of the Vehicle, and that the Vehicle is free of any and all legal claims, encumbrances, and offsets by others.
All vehicles listed will be sold “As-Is / Where Is” without any warranties, express or implied, as to its condition. The Buyer has the option to personally inspect the vehicle and will accept it “As-Is / Where Is”.
Additional terms include the awarded bid Buyer will be responsible for the removal of the vehicle from City property no later than November 25, 2025. The City will not be responsible for relocation of any vehicles purchased through this bid.
Payments must be received in the City Cashier’s Office at 710 Mill Bay Road, Room 211, Ph. 907-486-8650 by 4:00 pm on November 19, 2025. Terms of payment accepted: cash, cashier’s check or money order.
Vehicles may be viewed on Monday, November 10, 2025 between 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the City Snow Dump area at 909 Pillar Mountain Road adjacent to City Water Plant.
Bid forms are available on the City’s website www.city.kodiak.ak.us/rfps. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to reject any and all bids.
