Sealed Bids for the Pier III Replacement; Pavement 2016 PN 11-07/8024 will be received by the City of Kodiak at the office of the City Manager, 710 Mill Bay Road, Room 114, Kodiak, Alaska 99615 until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room 116.

This project includes removal of approximately 2 inches of D-1 gravel, compacting the remaining base, and installing 2.5 inches of AC Pavement.

All work must be coordinated through the Harbormaster and Matson and be performed during the periods when ships are not on berth. Typical ship days are Mondays and Wednesdays, but may vary. 

Portions of the work will be located adjacent to an active gantry crane and will require coordination with Matson Line to move the crane during the construction process.

The City of Kodiak reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids.
