Nonprofit Funding Information
Each year the City Council provides funding to nonprofit organizations.
Funding is granted for the following kinds of programs/activities and up to the maximum identified funding amount per organization, per program type:
- Quality of Life Programs $ 7,500
- Public Safety Support Programs (Shelter/Food) $20,000
- Emergency Response Support Programs $20,000
To be considered for funding, this application must be completed and signed, Mission Statement and 501(c)(3) status letter from IRS must be received in the City Manager’s Office via mail at 710 Mill Bay Road, Room 114, Kodiak, AK 99615 or email to: nnicolas@city.kodiak.ak.us by 4:30 p.m. on June 16, 2023.
